The LiederNet Archive Online archive with a rich collection (almost 20,000) lyrics written by classical composers. The texts are in the original language, but also translated versions can be found. There are indexes on text poetry, composer, title words, first line and language.
The Leader in Lieder Contains the lyrics of almost 30,000 folk songs. There are many songs in MIDI format and sometimes some background information. As an "extra" you can find the lyrics of Christmas songs, drinking songs, sailors, wall songs and soldiers songs.
