Categories

What are the categories and what do they mean? The category system dates back to 1948 and forms the basis of the library, both in the lending department and in the stocking room.
The library guide lists the categories alphabetically. Here we group the categories by instrument group..
A list of the scores in that category is provided for each instrument.
